In 1979 Mr Arnim Handtke was declared managing directors and set up a further branch, the WIROS GmbH. The preparation and cutting of stainless steel strips expanded the product spectrum.

After stopping the production of mass steel, the fusion of the two companies was effected in 1989. Since then the Handtke-Wiros GmbH is led by the managing directors Arnim Handtke, Marga Handtke, Udo Kurth and Elmar Hammacke.

The well known quality standards of the company got certified in 1991 according to DIN ISO 9002.

The products are subject to the laid down specifications and ensure high quality standards.
